the oldest and most established Shooting Association in Malaysia, founded in 1950.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote shooting sports in Malaysia in order for our national shooters to be able to compete and succeed at an international level. To achieve our mission, we work in partnership with the National Sport Council and the Olympic Council of Malaysia to provide the foundation needed. We also aid and promote sports shooting for other Southeast Asia countries, Taiwan and Hong Kong (SEASA) as well. We ensure maximum competition exposures for all SEASA Shooters. For example, we guarantee all these countries that his competition is held every year. This is one of the reasons why these countries made NSAM the headquarters of SEASA; an achievement we are very proud of.
Our Goal
Our goal is to have as many of our national shooters qualified to participate in the ISSF championships, SEA Games, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and the Olympic Games as possible, and bring home championship medals for Malaysia. We believe that Malaysians can excel in the shooting sports because through our organization, and experience, we have provided the resources our talented athletes needed, and we have a long history of winning and success in this sport.
